Palestinian Group Slams UAE for Moves Aimed at Normalization of Ties with Israel
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine condemned the UAE’s attempts to normalize ties with the Zionist regime of Israel.
In a statement, the Palestinian group said the Persian Gulf country’s intensification of activities to normalize relations with the occupying regime harms the cause of Palestine.
It especially denounced the move by the United Arab Emirates’ carrier Etihad Airways sent its second flight to Israel in less than a month Tuesday.
Jordan and Egypt aside, Arab countries have no official diplomatic ties with Israel, but Persian Gulf Arab nations have had ever more publicly warm ties with Israel of late.
